  • NASRE Director In Critical Condition After Crash, Group Mobilizes Support

The Nigerian Association of Social and Resourceful Editors (NASRE) has pledged full support for its Director of Investment, Mr. Motolani Oseni, following a serious motor accident that occurred in the early hours of Sunday, June 15, 2025.

According to the association, the incident happened while Mr. Oseni was heading to Iyana Ipaja, Lagos, and left him with multiple injuries. The most severe injury is suspected to be a fracture in his left leg.

In a statement released by NASRE’s Public Relations Officer, Mr. Adeyemi Obadimu, the victim is currently receiving urgent medical care at Amadiya Hospital in Lagos.

“The initial medical assessment points to a serious injury to the leg,” Obadimu said. “We are awaiting the outcome of further diagnostic tests, including an X-ray, expected by tomorrow morning to determine the extent of the damage.”

Mr. Oseni is widely respected in media and resource advocacy circles, with close to two decades of experience in journalism, investment communications, and editorial leadership.

His contributions to NASRE as Director of Investment have been marked by professionalism, strategic insight, and a deep commitment to national development through responsible journalism.

“This is indeed a difficult moment for us at NASRE,” said NASRE President, Mr. Femi Oyewale. “Motolani is not just a member of our executive; he is a pillar in our association. We are confident that by God’s grace and with the help of competent medical professionals, he will overcome this challenge.”

NASRE is calling on colleagues, friends, and well-wishers across the media industry to pray for Mr. Oseni’s full and speedy recovery.
